Work and interests
Peggy (Xiaoshuai) Zhang was a visiting PhD student working mainly with other members of the statistics team on the analyses of genetics data within the unit for a year, while studying for a PhD in Biostatistics at Shandong University, China.
Background and experience
She received a bachelor’s degree in Statistics and a master’s degree in Biostatistics from Shandong University. Her research interest is developing gene-gene interaction models and variable selection methods for Genome-Wide Association Studies.
