Work and interests

Liv was a database specialist and data manager, who left the Unit in 2021. She has helped with the preparation and ongoing management of a number of data sets, including ADDITION, WRAP, & ICAD. In addition to this she contributed to the development of databases and data flows for the Trials Unit. Liv also has an interested in programming, particularly in python.

Background and experience

Prior to joining the unit, Liv worked for a start-up company in Cambridge as a Technical consultant providing cloud based transformations for the public sector. During this time she was the technical lead on the design and configuration of a new UK wide system for Sport England to manage the allocation and administration of funding for sporting applications.

Prior to this she held the position of Application Scientist offering scientific software support to academic and pharmaceutical organisations.
