Work and interests
Lindsey was a PhD student supervised by Dr Jenna Panter and Dr David Ogilvie. She completed her PhD at the Unit in 2020. Her work focused on the use of objective measures to investigate the influence of the environment on physical activity and related health outcomes. She is particularly interested in the capture and analysis of spatial data through the application of geographic information system (GIS) technology.
Background and experience
Lindsey completed an MPhil in Epidemiology in 2016 as part of a 1+3 year studentship, submitting a thesis on weather conditions and active commuting. Prior to joining CEDAR, she worked as a GIS Analyst and has an MSc in Geoinformatics from the University of East Anglia and a BA in Geography from the University of Manchester.
