Work and interests
Lina was a Cambridge International Scholarship PhD student supervised by Dr Claudia Langenberg, who completed her PhD in 2021. Her particular research interest lies in characterising the effects of habitual physical activity on the human metabolome and assessing the potential causal relations to adverse health outcomes.
Background and experience
Prior to joining the Unit, Lina completed her Master’s in Epidemiology at Imperial College London with honours in 2016. Her dissertation looked at the relationship between physical activity and the risk of gastric adenocarcinoma in the European population. She has also obtained a Master in Public Health from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tsinghua University.
