Work and interests

Katie was a research assistant working for the Field Epidemiology team, based at the Princess of Wales Hospital, Ely. She left the Unit in November 2017.

Background and experience

She studied for a BSc in exercise, nutrition and health at the University of Plymouth, and then gained an MSc in preventative cardiology at Imperial College London. She is particularly interested in research into obesity and related metabolic disorders, and in her spare time provides tailored diet plans to clients in relation to sports training and weight loss.
