Work and interests
James was appointed the Unit’s Clinical Research Manager in May 2010, based at the Institute of Metabolic Science, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. His main role was to oversee the coordination of clinical research across all scientific programme areas of the Unit, by leading the Study Co-ordination and Field Epidemiology teams. James left the Unit in December 2014.
Background and experience
James originally started working with the Unit as a physical activity research assistant within the field epidemiology team in 2006 before becoming Field Team Manager in 2009.
He has a BSc. in Sport and Exercise Science and an MSc. in Exercise Physiology, both from Loughborough University.
