Work and interests
Eoin was a research assistant working for the Field Epidemiology team, based at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, who left the Unit in November 2016.
Background and experience
Having completed an MSc in exercise physiology at Trinity College Dublin, Eoin began studying for a PhD at the Centre for Sports & Exercise Medicine, Queen Mary University of London. His research focused primarily on the investigation of the association between physical activity and obesity levels amongst East London schoolchildren, a particularly socioeconomically-deprived and ethnically-diverse population. He graduated in 2013.
