Aetiology and Mechanisms of Diabetes and Related Metabolic Disorders of Later Life
Left the Unit in 2022
Current work and interests
Eleanor was a Senior Research Associate whose research focuses on using large-scale data sets including SNP array data and publicly available resources to identify genes of interest and to help understand the mechanisms underlying diabetes, obesity and related quantitative traits. Eleanor left the Unit in May 2022.
Background and experience
Following completion of her PhD in statistical Genetics at the University of Cambridge, Eleanor worked at the Wellcome Sanger Institute before joining the Unit in 2018.
