Work and interests
Bethan joined the Unit in March 2016 worked on the Fenland Study as part of the Field Epidemiology Team. She left the Unit in Autumn 2019.
Background and experience
Prior to this, Bethan gained her MSc by Research in Sports Science from Swansea University. This involved validating an online health and lifestyle questionnaire in school children using a novel wearable camera. In 2014 she completed a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science with a professional placement year, from the University of Bath. The 10 month placement involved working as a research assistant for Nottingham Trent University including collecting data with Academy players at Nottingham Forest Football Club.
