Current work and interests

Sue was a research nurse with the Field Epidemiology team, and the lead nurse at the MRC Epidemiology Unit in Ely. She left the Unit in August 2022.

She was involved in several research studies, the main one being the Fenland Study. In addition to her research role, she was responsible for the safety, care and wellbeing of our volunteers, ensuring that they had a enjoyable and positive experience with us.

Background and experience

Sue joined the Unit in 2002 to work on phase 3 of the Ely study, and her background is in general and cardiac intensive care.
