Field Epidemiology

Current work and interests

Esther is a research nurse with the Field Epidemiology team, and is the lead nurse at the MRC Epidemiology Unit in Cambridge.

Background and experience

Esther joined the unit in 2008, and has a Ph.D. in Educational Evaluation from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, where she evaluated the provision of School Health Services . Esther also has a masters degree in Advanced Nursing Practice from the University of Nottingham in 2005 with a focus on Student Nurses key transferable skills. Since joining the unit she has been involved in many studies, including Fenland, ADDITION, Get Moving, Proactive, STV, Baby Milk Study, ODYSSEY, and EXSCEL.
