Work and interests

Lena was a Data Scientist in the Prevention of Diabetes and Related Metabolic Disorders group at the MRC Epidemiology Unit, focusing mainly on the data collection for the GLINT study. Lena left the Unit in July 2015.

Lena studied Chemical Engineering at Ural State University in Russia, and also received an MSc in Statistics from University College London. For several years after graduation she worked as a statistician/programmer in the pharmaceutical industry, before joining the Unit in September 2014.
