Summary

This project will start with an existing land use and transport model that models demographics, employment and housing. The project would improve the economic decision making by considering together the main household costs of housing, transport and food. This would allow more realistic representation of the economic impacts on households in the context of Net Zero and climate destabilisation related cost of living crises, and hence better representation of expected changes in health risk factors over time. Willingness to learn Java coding would be beneficial.
