Work and interests
Hervé Besson was a Senior Investigator Scientist working within the Physical Activity Epidemiology group, and left the Unit in December 2014. His research interests include evaluating self-reported physical activity and characterisation of the relationship between physical activity and cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
Background and experience
Hervé has an MSc in Natural Sciences and a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Claude Bernard Lyon I. Throughout his career as epidemiologist, Hervé has also worked on other areas such as hematology, neurology and anaesthesia.
