Current work and interests
Abdulwahab is a PhD student supervised by Dr Søren Brage. His current research interests include physical activity epidemiology and population health surveillance strategies. For his Ph.D., he will explore associations of physical activity behavior and fitness with cardiometabolic risk in different ethnic populations.
Outside of the lab, Abdulwahab is an experienced long-distance runner specializing in the half marathon and marathon distances.
Abdulwahab’s studentship is funded by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences in collaboration with the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
