Current work and interests

Ella is working as a Research Laboratory Technician in the Biorepository team, providing biological sample management, biobanking and core laboratory support. The main study she is working on is The National Diet and Nutrition Survey (NDNS).

Background and experience

Ella graduated from the University of Utrecht (The Netherlands) with a MSc in Marine Sciences (2 year Research Master focusing on Marine Microbiology and Biogeochemistry) in 2017 and a BSc in Biology in 2015. In previous roles she has worked for the Royal Netherlands institute for Sea Research (NIOZ) and for Cytocell – Oxford Gene Technology (Cambridge).
