Current work and interests

In his role as a research laboratory technician with the Unit’s Biorepository, Dani supports several studies within the unit by providing biological sample management, biobanking, biomarker measurements, as well as carrying out DNA extractions, quantifications and QC testing of different types of biological samples.

Background and experience

Dani graduated from the University of Sheffield with a BSc in Biomedical Science in 2019 and an MSc in Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine in 2020.

He worked as a Genetic Technologist at Oncologica UK prior to joining the MRC Epidemiology Unit.
