Current work and interests
Silvia joined the Data Management team in March 2020 as a Database Specialist and Data Engineer and worked on the EPIC-Norfolk study. She left the Unit in October 2022.
Background and experience
Silvia has a background in biology and statistics. Prior to joining the Unit she worked as a statistician at the Primary Care Unit at the University of Cambridge. Here she provided statistical support to research projects ranging from smaller cohort studies to those using large datasets of routine data, including the Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD) and national patient experience surveys.
