Current work and interests

Hannah worked on the Fenland Study Phase 2 with a primary focus of supporting the day to day running of the Fenland Study Office. She left the Unit in April 2024.

Background and experience

Hannah gained a BSc (Hons) in Forensic Biology from the University of Portsmouth before moving abroad for a couple of years to work in the hospitality industry in Austria, Switzerland and Portugal.

After two years she returned to the UK and joined a forensic company as a DNA Analyst before moving on to become Laboratory Technician at another site.

She joined the University of Cambridge in 2016 as a Laboratory Research Technician primarily extracting DNA from blood samples and performing a variety of QC checks for multiple Cambridge BioResource studies.
