Current work and interests
Larissa was the Laboratory Co-ordinator for the Nutritional Biomarker Laboratory (NBL), and was also responsible for managing the laboratory in the NIHR Cambridge BRC Core Metabolomics and Lipidomics Laboratory (CMaLL) group. She left the Unit in August 2021.
Background and experience
Her first degree (with honours) was in Veterinary Medicine, and she has a PhD in Biology specialising in Microbiology from Saratov State Agricultural University, Russia. She has worked in Cambridge University since 2004. Her career in Cambridge started as a Senior Research Technician in Strangeways Research Laboratory, then her position was moved to the Wellcome Trust-MRC Institute of Metabolic Science (IMS) where she worked in the Laboratory team.
